How coaching works

If this moment were a cololr or texture, what would it be? What emotion is present in your body, now?

Papaya soul coaching sessions follow a simple flow: arrival, unfolding, and integration. These steps include grounded embodiment and presence around your current reality, deepened learning and exploration, and logistically grounded action toward your desired reality. This flow allows you to engage with wholehearted curiosity and awareness of your own self and story.

Arrival

  • The intention of this space is to create safety, presence, and shared authorship before any exploration begins.

This part of the session regulates the nervous system, equalizes power, and invites co-creation. It’s where the client begins to remember that they are not being “coached at,” but rather co-creating transformation for themselves with a skilled coach.

  • The session begins by slowing down.

We take a few minutes to arrive fully — through breath, silence, and noticing what the body holds today. From that grounded place, we co-create the tone and boundaries for our time together. You choose what you need: pace, depth, and energy.

Together, we design a safe, soulful alliance built on trust, curiosity, and consent — the kind of space where your body can exhale and your truth can unfold naturally.

In coaching (especially somatic and trauma-informed practice), “designing alliance” simply means co-creating the terms of how we’ll work together.

So, in practice, this part of the session includes gentle inquiry and body-based reflection — questions like:

    • “What would make this time meaningful for you today?”

    • “Where is your curiosity pulling you?”

    • “If you left with one small clarity or release, what would it be?”

    • “What does your body say wants attention?”

    • “Where do you feel most alive or tight today?”

    • “What texture does your energy feel like — heavy, airy, electric?”

    • “What does your body or spirit most want from our time today?”

This grounding and alliance-building allows us to move with deeper clarity and trust into the next phase of our work together: Unfolding.

Unfolding

  • If Arrival is about grounding in safety, Unfolding is about stepping into aliveness. It’s the moment when curiosity takes the lead and the conversation becomes a living organism — unpredictable, honest, creative.

Here, we explore what is stirring beneath the surface: the story, sensation, or longing asking for voice. Through somatic awareness, metaphor, and intuitive dialogue, the client begins to name truth without judgment.

You, as coach, hold the mirror steady — trusting that insight arrives not through analysis but through felt experience.

    The purpose:

    • to bring hidden patterns into light with compassion

    • to transform awareness from mental to embodied

    • to practice new ways of being in real time

    • to honor emotion and imagination as sources of intelligence

  • From the grounded rhythm we’ve created, we move into the living inquiry.

This is the heart of the session — a space for curiosity, honesty, and emergence. Here, we follow what feels alive rather than what feels rehearsed.

Through intuitive questioning, somatic awareness, and metaphor, we explore what’s calling for your attention — the ache, the desire, the pattern, or the dream. You’re invited to notice what your body is saying beneath the story, and to let imagination become language.

This is not about fixing or performing; it’s about witnessing what’s already true and allowing new meaning to surface. Together, we listen for the wisdom beneath words — the part of you that already knows the way forward.

You might find yourself laughing, crying, drawing connections, or sitting in quiet realization. However it unfolds, the session meets you exactly where you are — tenderly, truthfully, and without rush.

INtegration

  • If Arrival is grounding and Unfolding is revelation, Integration is embodiment — where insight becomes movement, ritual, or truth carried forward. It’s about closing the circle with care, letting what was stirred find its place.

Here, we honor both the transformation and the tenderness.

Together, we name what has shifted, distill what you’re taking with you, and choose one small, sustainable way to honor that change in daily life. Purposed action.

  • We slow back down.

We reflect on what has emerged — words, sensations, symbols, or revelations — and begin to gather the threads. Together we name what wisdom wants to stay and what can be released.

    You might ask:

    • “What truth feels most alive right now?”

    • “What will you carry with you into the next few days?”

    • “How does your body want to remember this insight?”

From here, you co-create a gentle next step or ritual — something tangible and body-based: a phrase to repeat, a gesture to practice, a color to wear, a boundary to honor.

The session closes with breath, gratitude, and spaciousness — allowing the client to leave both grounded and expanded.

Integration is where the coaching becomes life —

the moment insight moves from language to living. 🌿
